BMW 700 LS Luxe (1963)

A time where BMW wasn’t all cool and luxury cars. These 700 are basic rear wheels drive rear engined cars. This in particular is a LS Luxe version, a two doors only model with the peculiar longer wheelbase if compared to the standard 700, created as a middle way between the 700 and the already marketed Neue Klasse.

This car, quite successful, gave enough economic solidity to let the brand grow till what is today.
This car is the today’s solution of the #tccchallenge game. Some guys made me notice that this one was been already featured in the game. It was the 5th July game!. I’d say: wow, you have better memory than mine! Anyway this is the same car but shot in a different location, so the game will be accepted as legitimate!
Thank you all for your (even critic) involvement in this ❤️

Ferrari 125 S

Even if this is not the best racing year for Ferrari, the 1000 GP achievement is an incredible result. The best way to celebrate? Posting where all this racing adventure has began: The 125 S.

Tellin’ the truth this is not the original car as the two 125 made has been ripped to created the next versions of the Ferrari race cars. This is a fine ricreation model commissioned by Ferrari and made in 1987 by Michelotto following the original drawings made in 1947.

Fiat 124 Sport Coupé BC

Second and main evolution of the Fiat 124 Coupé, this version takes distance from the original 1st series lines and from the spider version (that remained substantially unchanged in all its long and fortunate existence) with a body that grabs some elements from the Bertone’s Fiat Dino.

The effect of the double couple of headlights is great and the overall work on the body makes it my preferred 124 coupé version.

Caught at the Fiat 124 tribute exhibition at the #arezzoclassicmotors fair in Arezzo in early 2020 (it’s a pre pandemic event so it seems happened in another century) it looked great even compare to it’s simblings at the booth.

Lancia HP Executive VX

The fastest and more desirable Lancia Beta ever made it’s not a Beta. In its third edition the shooting break bodied Lancia Beta HPE lost the “Beta” name embracing the new H.P. Executive name.

This one is a late series model (you can spot the sponged spoiler typical of this release) VX model. The surprise is under the hood: the 2 liters engine with the Roots compressor made up to 136 HP. Only 2369 made!

Citroën Visa Chrono (1983)

Just one of the many special editions of the little Citroën Visa, che A-segment car that drove the Double Chevron into the 80s. Based on the Peugeot 104 chassis, the car here pictured from the II series is the sporty Chrono version, a limited edition car sold initially only in France (1982) and later (with a low powered engine) in Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands and Switzerland.

Citroen Visa Chrono IT Edition (1983)
Citroen Visa Chrono IT Edition (1983)

The peculiarity of this car is that the stripes on the car change for every Nation’s model so, here you find the green-white-red three colors of the Italian flag, on the Franch version you’ll see the blu white red and so on.
Powered by the 1.4 liters engine (90HP the same of the Visa GT) this is one of the more desiderable Visa versions produced.

Fiat 128 1100 (1969)

Looks strong without bumper but under the hood there’s the classic 1.1 liters engine. This Fiat 128 from the Targa AC race looks quite tough: yellow fog lights, no front bumpers and front grill without the chrome line in the middle.

The result is remakable (and, as you know, I’m not a fan of the no bumpers setups). To complete all a fine color. Looks like s Turquoise to me but the color code should be the Grigio Garda 604

Morris Minor 1000 (1959)

A model that followed the 20th century of England, the Morris Minor is a great classic and with its rounded edges looks pretty nice even today.

Fiat 850 Coupé (1966)

One of my favourite Fiat models, basically because the Boano design turned a common seadn body in a fine sporty car.

This first series from 1966 looks surprisingly good even in this beige coffee&milk color.

MG MGA 1500 (1957)

That letter as a new beginning. The MGAis still one of the my favourite spider as it comes to design, with its line that describes an arch from the front to the back.

Here’s a very fine MGA 1500 from 1957, still housing the first engine release before the upgrade made in that same year.
Caught at the “Motori sotto le stelle” event in Florence, Italy. I’ve been able to shoot it quite alone and with no people around in the still silent streets of the city due to the Covid issue.

A long story for a tiny box with a strong name. The Autobianchi A112 Abarth, a dream for many 70s/80s guys for a speedy car to dream big.

And still a favourite for many classic cars “fast” enthusiast thinking of a tiny temper car to run the street with the 1.05 liters 70HP engine under the hood.
