Straight before the introduction of the new Regata (or Regatta in many foreign markets) the Fiat 131 got its last restyling.
Not that much of a change here (but it’s appealed as third series) from the classic family car it is.
Following a similar fate to its illustrious predecessors in the Fiat range, beside the long Italian production career, this car’s range was produced in many other countries, like Spain, where it was marketed with the Seat brand, but also in Turkey and even in Ethopia!
A globe trotter and a multi soul car (maybe Abarth rings a bell…).
The car here is a no frills Fiat 131 Mirafiori CL third series, with the basic 1.3 liters engine.
Enough to dream of a rally car? Obviously not, but a simple good companion to have inside the box could be a reassuring thing (but watch out from the rust!).
