Luxury roadster made in USA? Not completely true as this car has been nicknamed as the longest assemply line ever made as the mechanics was made in Detroit but the body was a pininfarina creation and the final assembly was made in Italy.
To close the circle those cars were sent across the globe on a special equipped Boeing 747.
As you can understand it was a logistic (and economical) nightmare for Cadillac. It was meant to fight on the market against the mercedes 560SL but we can surely state that it cannot make it.
With little more than 21.000 pieces made it's a rare late 80s meteor.
